The pages of this website, like everything we do at HUCC, are designed to say “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” 

Our faith is over 2000 years old. Our thinking is not. This church seeks to help people grow in faith by freeing them to ask and explore the questions of faith.

Our belief is that God is still speaking and that God has “more light and truth to break forth...” (John Robinson, 1621). We affirm the Good News of Jesus Christ, the centrality of the Bible, and our need of transformation by the Holy Spirit.

Our desire is to spread the message of God’s extravagant welcome, reaching out to all those who want to grow in their relationship with God.  We are like a “company of strangers,” made family by the grace of God.  Each of us is a unique creation of God, meant to bring blessing to the world.
