Welcome to our church's sanctuary. We look forward to the day when you join us in worship.
We offer two worship services each Sunday morning. At 8:00 am we have a blended service in which we mix worship traditions with contemporary music. The flow of the service is more casual, we sing praise choruses, and we usually use the piano for service. At 10:30 am we offer a more traditional service. During this time we sing hymns with music played by our beautiful pipe organ. The flow of the service is more formal, and the liturgy reflects the faith of those who worshipped God over the centuries. Also, included in this service is a children's message and prayer. Following the time with the youth, junior church is offered for the children and lasts the remainder of the service. The NRSV Bible is read in worship and is the basis for all sermons. We also use other means to proclaim God's word such as plays, dramas, and musical presentations. We celebrate Communion the second Sunday of each month. Other important worship services throughout the year include: Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, sunrise Easter service, and Christmas Eve service.
